WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU DESERVE BETTER? Hello there, you probably have a feeling that you deserve better. Maybe you don’t, but I bet a thousand bucks that you’ve been told that you deserve better. Well, here’s the big question. Do you deserve better? Why do you think you deserve better? Could you have been lied to? It’s easy to feel that the world should treat us better; that feeling is what I call a sense of entitlement.

You feel that the world should be good and favorable to you but guess what, the world doesn’t care. In your daily activities, the world doesn’t care about you. You can be having a good day, and boom, Susan from the Accounts department starts raining abuses on you for no just cause. Your boss could call you into his office and demand that you go against your ethics else you fired. Congratulations, you’ve experienced firsthand some of the crazy shits that happen. Welcome to life, baby. Also, you were later fired for sticking to ethics.

Do you really deserve to be fired? Do you deserve to be abused? Well, here are my questions. If you don’t deserve all that, then who deserves all that? Who deserves the crazy stuff that happens every second, minute, or hour on this planet earth? Bad guys don’t always get bad endings.

You could go ahead to look in the mirror and tell yourself that you deserve better, but we both know you are not always going to get what you deserve. This is what is wrong with feeling that you deserve better. When you begin to think that you deserve better, you close your eyes to your flaws; doing so makes you feel good; it’s like a high. Oh my God, I caught your black ass — you’re trying to escape taking responsibility. You are trying to escape owning up to your shit. Well, I’m not going to own up to your shit for you; it’s yours. I’ll own up to mine, and I hope you own up to your shit.

Here are some reasons as to why you don’t deserve better.

  1. Firstly, you don’t deserve anything.

Sounds awkward, right? Do you feel once you are born that everything is meant to work out in your favor? I’ve learned the hard way that we don’t deserve anything. There’s a catch, though; you’ve got to work for it. You have to work to earn anything. Life isn’t going to throw everything you so desire. I mean, let’s say life gives you a ton load of shit. The fact is you’re going to feel that you don’t deserve it. Here’s the plot twist, though, when you feel like it’s all lost, that you’ve hit the lowest part — to me, that is when you are at your strongest. See, humans like the feeling of entitlement. I am born into the world, and I deserve to be treated right; blah blah blah. Fun fact though, dogs and ladies are probably treated better than men. For men, they have to work to deserve any kind of affection. A mother is the only person that just loves you for being you — a big shout-out to the real queens out there.

There are people out there in the fields, in the mines that work their butt off so freaking hard; I can bet they work harder than Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, or Warren Buffett. Guess what? They are not going to be as rich as those dudes are. Why? When in fact, if we are to judge by the kind of labor they do, they work harder than the dudes that are currently running back and forth as the world’s richest man or men. Do they deserve to be at the top? Well, if they keep working like that, then we both know the answer. They can kiss goodbye to ever reaching the peeks of acquiring massive wealth. Right now, I’m sure a girl is sitting in her room, wigs hanging on the wall like a prized artifact. She’s telling herself that she deserves to be taken care of, loved, pampered, and spoiled with all the things she craves.

The same girl sits on her bed all day long, puts in 0.01% of work, and expects her desires to manifest. Well, me too. I’m handsome, and I desire a home filled with toys and ladies. Also, get me a cyber-truck too, a meeting with President Biden, a party with Cardi B. An AI house that responds to my voice on every command plus the fastest car. You may ask, what about those that lost their loved ones? Do they deserve to lose their family? I’m no heartless brute, and I’m not trying to be a douchebag, but we all are bound to die at some point. Here’s something to think about, “Every step you take slowly leads you to either a fast death or a death that’s coming after a long time.”

2. Life is not fair.

Life is not fair; deal with it. You probably already know this but let’s go through it again. Life is designed in a way that you get what you work for. Life goes on with or without you, and that’s something you should have to think about. When you feel that life is meant to throw in good things for you and you get the shitty stuff instead, it hurts. To save you from that world of hurt, you have to understand that the world does not come answering your call. Once you know that the world will continue with or without you, you short-circuit the pain that would come from expecting the world to bring your desires to your feet. Okay, this just came up in my head “Life is no servant to man; however life will bring good tidings to the man who conquers all.” Yep, that quote just hit me like bamm. If you know the original owner, I’m ready to give credit to them. The man who conquers all is the man that understands that life cannot just give him what he desires. He goes all out to accomplish feats that automatically orders life to bestow what he earned or that which he wants.

3. You don’t want to change.

Humans, a particularly stubborn set of a higher of animals. I said it, we are stubborn; it’s easy to control animals than control human beings. You can say that is why we are advanced; we are meant to rule and dominate. Okay, I may have strayed a little. You don’t deserve better because you don’t want to change.

Here’s the bitter truth, you are lazy, and you know it. I’m sorry, but it is what it is. You’re probably going to beat me up because of what I wrote, but I just want to let you know that I do Kung fu. There is no way the cosmos or the world is planning to manifest the desires of a lazy person. If you want something, you have to earn it. Be truthful to yourself; you are not putting in enough work to own a yacht or get a Tesla. Once you come to this fact, congratulations; you have completed the first difficult task.

Now that you’ve understood why you don’t deserve better. Let’s talk about the only thing that makes you worthy of deserving better. Let me put it this way, there is only one way you can manifest your desires. This reason is the cause of many success stories; fake gurus will tell you to visualize yourself being successful. I’m not a guru, but I haven’t achieved my desires through visualizing. If you were able to manifest your desires through visualizing alone, then answer me this. Pop quiz; why are you not the wealthiest person yet?

You worked your ass for it.

This is the only reason why you deserve better, or you are allowed to feel you deserve better. If you want better, you work your ass off for better; the world has no other choice than to shove better down your throat. Does it always give you what you work for? No. Go back to the quote, “Life is no servant to man; however life will bring good tidings to the man who conquers all.” See, if you’re a Christian, you understand that man must work the ground to produce food. In like manner, you must work your ass off to get that which you desire.

I highly doubt Elon Musk sat by idly, desired to be the richest man, and magically, the world manifested his desires. See, you feel better when you work your ass off for something, and you get it. I don’t know about you, but freebies, although good, don’t always cheer me up. Be better; that’s the reason why you deserve better. I get happy when I reap the fruits of my labor. Happiness is a side product of struggles.

Go out there, work your butt off for your desires. The world automatically manifests your desires when you have made your bid. I’m rooting for you here. You deserve better because you are better. You deserve a vacation because you worked for it. Life is designed to screw you, give you what you work for, and screw you a little more. Till I write again, be better, and let go of expectations of the world.
